| Opened in 1998, the Arts & Crafts Centre was built with the aid of a £1.8m grant from the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England which views the Centre as a flagship for accessibility. Situated in the Historic Market Town of Knaresborough, the Centre occupies a prime location within a Walled Garden in the grounds of Conyngham Hall and displays many pieces of commissioned artwork.
Our craftshops, which are open to the public include weaving, pottery, paper-making, knitting, jewellery, horticulture, woodwork, music and drama and 3-dimensional work (including Felting and Mosaic). These produce wonderfully creative crafts that make unique gifts which can be found on sale in the workshops and gallery. | | Remap

| Remap is a charity established in 1964 which makes custom equipment for people with disabilities where there is no commercially available solution to help with everyday challenges.
There are over 80 local Remap panels of volunteer engineers and healthcare professionals in the UK. The Harrogate and Ripon panel covers Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough and surrounding area.

| The Knaresborough Lions are part of Lions Clubs International, the largest voluntary organisation in the world. More than 40,000 Lions Clubs are found in over 180 countries and include every race, colour and creed. The club was chartered in 1987 and at present has 24 members. We meet twice a month in the evenings at the Borough Bailiff in the High Street.
We are a group of like minded men from all walks of life who undertake welfare activities and raise money to provide help to those people in the community who are less fortunate than ourselves.
